Sparta! (dupes)

It's been too long.  Did you miss me?  Well here I am stealing some time from the hectic day to post.  Today I was inspired by an email I received on Christian Louboutin's 20 year capsule event.  What girl doesn't love a beautiful pair of red soles? I know I do! Sadly, the accompanying price tag makes CL's more so a source of inspiration rather than practical options. Back in 2007ish the Gladiator sandals came onto the scene fast and furiously.  There was an endless variety of said style (some more poorly executed than others) and they're still hanging around.  This next show is the gladiator in a big way. So without further ado I give you CL does gladiator:

I love the occasional bold fashion statement and I've been on the tall gladiator train from the very start.  However $2795 for the Rose Du Desert Flat  is more than I could afford without giving up food for a year so here are some pocket-book friendly dupes:

The slightly more practical Romana Fest Sandal, $158

I myself have been a proud owner of a pair of Dolce Vita look alike's which have garnered both admiration and scolding looks.  I know some people think they're too crazy. To them I say: I don't care because I love them and I'll take the good and the bad that come along with wearing them:

You can catch a glimpse of them in this photo.

Happy Wednesday.
